Engineered Flooring

Description

Engineered wood floors consist of spalted maple veneers layered in a manufacturing process to ensure exceptional durability and stability. Each layer's grain runs perpendicular to the others, minimizing the effects of humidity and temperature fluctuations. Crafted from high-quality spalted maple wood, the top layer of our engineered flooring offers superior aesthetics and resilience. Vermont Wildwood's Engineered Floors are 3/4" thick with a 3/16" nominal wear layer. Wear layers are laminated to Baltic birch plywood (CARB II certified) using a reactive hot melt polyurethane glue (no formaldehyde added). The Baltic birch plywood used is 15mm 11 ply. Engineered flooring can be installed over plywood, wood, OSB, and concrete subfloors. Our engineered wood floors are versatile enough for use in any room, regardless of above or below-grade status. Capable of being sanded and finished to achieve desired aesthetics and protection.
